All proceeds from our fundraisers to raise funds for the York County community are awarded by a vote of the general membership to local charities. Fundraisers include monthly sales of tickets for prize donations, and special fundraisers such as "Make It-Bake It,” Bingo, “Ladies Social” at the Historic White Home, and many pop-up events. A committee, with input from the membership and Board of Directors, selects the charities to be placed on the ballot and the number of charities that will be awarded the funds. Checks are awarded at the May general meeting each year.

The 2017-018 Year-End Charities were Family Promise and Adult Enrichment Centers. Each received $3400 at the May 2018 monthly meeting.

Family Promise provides a comprehensive program of shelter, meals, and support services to homeless families through coordination with area churches, social service agencies, and volunteers.
