All proceeds from our fundraisers which include monthly sales of tickets for prize donations, and special fund raisers, such as garage sales, "Make It-Bake It-Just Donate It Silent Auction, and "Dimes Make A Difference" are awarded by a vote of the general membership to local charities. A committee, with input from the membership and Board of Directors,  selects the charities to be placed on the ballot and the number of charities that will be awarded the funds. Checks are awarded in May of each year.

For the 2015-2016 $7000 was raised. This amount was divided equally and awarded to:

Hospice & Community Care
All of their revenue goes directly toward helping patients, their families and our community at large. Hospice & Community Care services are available to people of all ages, religion or race and provided regardless of their ability to pay.

Humane Society of York County
They are an independent local non-profit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. Because they are an independent no kill facility, they make their own funds via grants, adoptions, fund raising activities and donations from people like us.
